The Minnesota Timberwolves took down the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night, securing another In-Season Tournament win and also improving their overall record for the season.
That record is something to be proud of, as the Timberwolves are playing better than they have in years.
As shared by NBACentral, the team is currently on a seven-game winning streak and has an 8-2 record for the season.
Additionally, they also have the number one defense in the entire league.

What a difference a year makes.
Last season, the Timberwolves ended up with a 42-40 record and barely limped into the playoffs, where they were pushed out during the opening round.
This year, they are playing much better and finally performing like the team fans had hoped for last season when the T-Wolves assembled their new big three of Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and Rudy Gobert.
Their defensive dominance is something very special and it shows that putting these three big men together can actually result in wins.
Tuesday night’s game was not only a notable, important win for Minnesota, but it was also a rowdy and chaotic mess.
Within only minutes of the game’s start, multiple players were ejected following one of the most shocking melees in recent NBA history.
Gobert spoke about it after the game and even cast some shade on Draymond Green of the Warriors.
The Timberwolves and Warriors are set to meet again on March 24, which means that fans can expect more fireworks then.
What will the Timberwolves’ record be at that point in the season?
