The 2023-24 NFL season is headed for what seems to be a climactic finish as the defending world champion Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
All season long, the Chiefs looked somewhat diminished, especially on offense, but behind star tight end Travis Kelce’s 11 catches for 116 yards in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game versus the Baltimore Ravens, they will be headed to the big game for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
One big side story in the NFL this season is Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift and the fact that she has regularly attended Chiefs games, something which has led to some criticism from some people.
But per Bleacher Report, Swift has actually been good for the league and the team, as she has generated tons of brand value.
Over $331 million, to be exact.
This includes print, digital, radio, TV, highlights, and social media since the first game she attended in September

When the Chiefs won their two most recent Super Bowls, they got reliable production at the wide receiver position, first from Tyreek Hill, and then from JuJu Smith-Schuster last season.
But this season, their wideouts have often dropped passes, especially during crunch time, resulting in them winning “just” 11 regular-season games.
Kelce’s numbers were down a bit during the regular season as defenses were able to key in on him more, but he has looked a lot like his old self in three playoff games so far.
Super Bowl LVIII will be a rematch of Super Bowl LIV when Kansas City overcame a late deficit to defeat the 49ers, and while the 49ers appear to be a much better team now than they were four years ago, Kelce’s squad has made a habit of winning when they have been counted out.
