Just a few weeks ago, the Minnesota Timberwolves were seen as playoff contenders who would have a hard time making their way to the Finals.
Today, their chances of winning their first title have grown in tremendous ways.
According to NBC Sports Bet, the Timberwolves had +2500 odds only a few weeks ago, on April 19.
On Tuesday morning, their odds were +320.

This change is because of just how well the Timberwolves have been playing during the postseason.
Some teams are great during the regular season and then fall apart in the playoffs.
There was fear among the Timberwolves fanbase that this would happen to Minnesota.
Instead, the Timberwolves have actually gotten better as if they are tailor-made for the postseason.
They have now won six games in a row, including two against the Denver Nuggets.
If the Timberwolves are able to put the reigning champions away, their odds of winning the Finals will grow even higher.
They will earn entry to the Western Conference Finals and will be just four wins away from vying for a championship.
When the Timberwolves got off to a scorching hot start this season, some people said they were too young and inexperienced to sustain that success all the way to the playoffs.
They have proven those people wrong and have blossomed into a dominant and wildly entertaining team.
Their wins over the Nuggets have been most impressive and their defense has been absolutely stifling.
In a matter of weeks, the Timberwolves have transformed from a fun scrappy team that might have a chance to perhaps the most feared squad in the entire league.
