Odds Show Clear Favorite For No.1 Pick In NFL Draft

There are officially less than two months until the 2024 NFL Draft.

This draft has received a lot of hype, especially considering the depth that exists at many positions.

With the draft less than two months away, there have been significant, in-depth discussions about a potential draft order.

The crew on ESPN’s ‘Get Up’ recently showcased the odds for the No. 1 overall pick, and there is a staggering favorite, per ESPN Bet.

Caleb Williams currently has -1200 odds, a significant lead over the person with the next-best odds.

Drake Maye is at +700, Jayden Daniels is at +1300, and Marvin Harrison Jr. is at +1500.

As the ‘Get Up’ graphic indicates, all players besides these four have odds of +5000 or longer.

While there could be a surprise player to jump into the mix, it seems highly unlikely at this point, and the odds back that up.

Quarterbacks being drafted No. 1 overall is a growing trend in the NFL, and while Harrison is said to put together an impressive career, his chances of going No. 1 overall are slim to none.

With Williams as a heavy favorite, many fans have wondered if it is worth betting on anyone else.

Williams has been viewed as an impressive prospect throughout his collegiate career, which his 2022 Heisman Trophy backs up.

At this point, the No. 1 pick seems like a foregone conclusion.

At this point, the real question is which team will end up drafting him.

With the Chicago Bears still having questions about Justin Fields, they could deny any trades for this pick and start over at the position.

Only time will tell how it will all play out.
