The stage is set for another epic NBA Finals, with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks officially advancing to the next round after making easy work of the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games in the Western Conference Finals.

Anxiously waiting to take on the Mavericks are the top-seeded Boston Celtics from the Eastern Conference, who won a league-best 64 games during the regular season and continued their dominance throughout the NBA playoffs by taking down the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Indiana Pacers while only losing a total of two games in three rounds.

Ahead of Game 1 of the Finals, which will get underway on June 6 in Boston at TD Garden, the odds for the outcome of the series have been released, with the Celtics favored to come out on top against Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Along with the Finals odds being released, the odds for NBA Finals MVP have also been released, with superstar forward Jayson Tatum currently favored over Doncic, according to BetMGM.

As usual, these odds will fluctuate throughout the Finals, with Doncic and Tatum potentially flipping back and forth depending on which team wins the series and, obviously, the performances of these superstar players.

With the Mavericks pulling off the upset against the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals, it’ll be interesting to see if they can carry that magic to the Finals, as they’ll need all the help they can get against a Boston squad that is stacked on both ends of the basketball floor.
