The Miami Dolphins made a splash move this offseason to sign former three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth over $8 million.
He now joins stud wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in Miami with Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
In his first media appearance with the Miami press, he talked about his role on the offense and in the wide receiver room.
“I gotta get back on track, because it’s some speed down here,” Beckham said.
He also mentioned that he is “at peace” with not being the No. 1 wide receiver.

The Dolphins are right to have Beckham be their No. 3 wide receiver.
He isn’t a true No. 1, at least not right now.
The former Offensive Rookie of the Year hasn’t recorded a 1,000-yard season since 2019.
He also hasn’t recorded an 80-catch season since 2016.
The 31-year-old will be a great role player on Mike McDaniel’s team.
Hill and Waddle will draw most of the heat with their talents.
After all, the eight-time Pro-Bowler in Hill be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day.
Waddle has recorded over 1,000 yards in three consecutive seasons and over 250 receptions combined over those same three years.
The Dolphins are good on speed.
But, what they’ve needed is a true threat that can win one-on-one at any point.
Beckham has been doing that his entire career whether or not he has ended up with the ball or not.
It’ll be interesting to see what he does in year one down in Miami.
