The Baltimore Ravens were viewed as one of the biggest winners of the offseason.

They signed Odell Beckham Jr., winning the sweepstakes for a veteran with a significant amount of league experience.

However, at the halfway point in the season, Beckham’s usage hasn’t panned out to be what was advertised.

He discussed his feelings up to this point in the year with ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

“Just walking the fine line of being grateful for being back on the field but definitely not being content with how I am in terms of what’s going on,” Beckham said.

Beckham has been targeted 26 times in the six games he has taken part in this year.

He has turned those targets into 14 catches and zero touchdowns, a surprisingly low usage for the former elite receiver.

Beckham was signed by the Ravens to help their younger players, while also making a tremendous on-field impact.

His 26 targets are the third-highest on the team, behind rookie Zay Flowers and tight end Mark Andrews.

Beckham’s small usage is not due to a lack of passing attempts, as Lamar Jackson continues to develop his game through the air.

Frustration seems to be mounting for Beckham, despite being on a team that is tied for the best record in the AFC.

The Ravens still have plenty of games to be played.

Perhaps, Beckham and Jackson haven’t had enough time to connect and gain chemistry.

If the Ravens do make it to the playoffs, Beckham might be called upon in a higher capacity given his career experience.
