The New York Giants have been looking for a star wide receiver ever since they traded away Odell Beckham Jr.
He was one of the best players in football to begin his career, but the Giants felt it was necessary to trade him after his fifth season.
The Giants have tried drafting Beckham’s replacement, with no success.
But, one player they feel confident can be the next big thing is Jalin Hyatt.
Hyatt was the Giants’ third-round pick in the recent NFL Draft.
Also, he decided to choose the number 13 to wear to begin his career.
That was the number Beckham wore as a Giant and it comes with lofty expectations.
But, Beckham took to Twitter to show his support for Hyatt.

Hyatt is not expected to begin the season as a starter for the Giants.
But, he will get an opportunity to play.
Hyatt was lauded coming out of college for his elite speed.
That is something the Giants are going to utilize this year.
While Hyatt does not have the talent that Beckham had as a rookie, he can still make a positive impact on the offense.
Hyatt was in high school when Beckham was with the Giants.
So it makes sense that he wants to try and emulate a player he looked up to.
It will be interesting to see the success Hyatt has in his first NFL season.
With a lack of explosive players in New York, the Giants hope Hyatt can fill a role in their offense.
