The Miami Dolphins and Odell Beckham Jr. flirted with one another all offseason before finally coming to terms on a 1-year deal to make him the No. 3 receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

It was a surprise to no one when this deal finally got done, and fans can now start getting excited about what this offense is going to look like after Beckham has finally shared his thoughts on his new home.

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe shared some quotes from Beckham’s recent press conference, and the veteran receiver said: “I’m always here to prove something. It’s about finishing strong – ending my career on my terms, however long that is, one year, two years, three years. If this is my last year…want to finish it on a high note.”

Beckham finished by saying, “Let’s have a great ending to the story.”

It’s interesting that Beckham is speaking this way, as this doesn’t sound like a guy who has much of a plan for playing beyond this season.

It could be Super Bowl or bust for him, and after so many injuries and bouncing around from team to team, it’s possible Beckham only has one big run left in him.

Beckham still looked good with the Baltimore Ravens last season, posting 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games.

Miami needed a veteran receiver in the worst way to complement its two stars, and Beckham fits in tremendously on paper.

We all hope Beckham has more than one year left, but he appears to be all in and ready to give the Dolphins everything he has left.
