The Baltimore Ravens began their season on a high note, beating the Houston Texans in their season debut.
They were able to beat the Texans in an unorthodox way, as several Ravens players were unhappy with their performances.
Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr. were no exception to this, as they had an interaction on Twitter about their rustiness.
long szn bih, just need a lil WD-40…. “Ya lie ya steal….” “Id never lie to you twice..” https://t.co/JoX05W44og

Jackson described himself as “rusty,” and Beckham said he just needs some “WD-40” for the rest of the year.
Despite their self-described rusty play, the Ravens pulled out the victory.
When the game is over, individual stats don’t matter as long as your team comes away victorious.
However, both Jackson and Beckham are competitors who would like to see themselves do better.
Jackson ended this game with 179 passing yards and an interception, adding just 38 yards on the ground.
Beckham finished with two catches for 37 yards, a performance he would surely like to improve upon.
The Ravens could afford to have a lackluster game against a rebuilding Texans team.
They won’t get so lucky in the next few weeks.
The Ravens’ next three games are against the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, and Cleveland Browns.
All three of these teams have opportunistic defenses who will pounce if any errors are made.
If Jackson struggles again in this game, he might not be able to squeak out a win.
Beckham and the rest of his supporting cast will need to help uplift him in their upcoming contest, hoping to right the ship for the rest of the season.
