Three games into the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA men’s basketball looks nearly impossible to beat, with LeBron James and company firing on all cylinders as they try to bring another gold medal to the United States.

If a 35-point quarterfinal win against Brazil is any indication of how the rest of the tournament will go, the Americans should cruise to victory while dominating the competition in the last two games.

After making easy work of the Brazilians, Steve Kerr’s star-studded squad will go up against Nikola Jokic and Serbia in the semifinals, with only two wins separating the Americans from another gold.

Serbia will try to finally get a victory over Team USA, with this being the third time they’ll face the Americans this summer, with one loss coming in an exhibition game and the other being the first game of the 2024 Olympics for both teams.

Serbia’s head coach, Svetislav Pesic, isn’t taking the tall task ahead of them lightly.

“We are playing against the best team in the history of national teams,” Pesic told Eurohoops, via NBACentral.

Serbia will be heavy underdogs heading into this matchup with arguably the best team left standing in this tournament but is coming off an inspired come-from-behind win over Australia.

Although the Americans are heavily favored, anything can happen in international competitions like these, which means Kerr and company can’t take Jokic and his squad lightly.
