The Baltimore Orioles have a ton to be happy about this season.
They are in first place in the AL East and have the best record in the American League.
After many years of struggling, and being the worst team in baseball, things are starting to turn around in Baltimore.
One of the legendary Orioles players who has been with them through the good and bad is outfielder Adam Jones.
He played from 2008-2018 with the Orioles.
Jones was with them for three playoff appearances and numerous last-place finishes.
You can say he got the full Orioles experience.
His years of dedication to the franchise have allowed him to go back to Baltimore now that his career is over.
Jones has decided to retire as an Oriole and he will be given a special tribute on Friday.

Not only is this a special day for Jones, but it is a massive game for the Orioles.
They are taking on the Tampa Bay Rays in a series that will play a significant role in who wins the AL East.
Baltimore currently leads by one game over the Rays after Tampa Bay took game one on Thursday.
These next three games are massive for both teams.
The excitement in the ballpark on Friday night will be electric.
Jones’ retirement plus chasing a division title should bring one of the best atmospheres of the season to Camden Yards.
Friday night will be one to remember for both Jones and the Orioles.
