The Indiana Pacers’ season is hanging by a thread, and they will leave no stone unturned to try and salvage their season.

They haven’t been satisfied with the officiating in the Eastern Conference Semifinals thus far, and they’re blaming the officials for how things have gone down for them.

As a matter of fact, they’ve been so disappointed with this that they’ve officially submitted 78 instances of incorrect calls or no-calls over the past two games.

According to a report by ESPN insider Brian Windhorst, the Pacers filed a complaint over 49 missed calls from Game 2.

Overnight the Pacers filed 49 calls they felt were incorrect from Game 2 to the NBA office, according to a league source. And they sent in the 29 from Game 1 they’d previously withheld as well, for a total of 78. https://t.co/coOKONZDZY

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle didn’t mince his words against the officials, and he was clearly livid at them during the game.

Carlisle admitted that they had decided not to file complaints about the 29 calls in Game 1, but they changed their minds after they found even more officiating issues in Game 2.

Windhorst’s report states that, per NBA protocol, the clips will also be shared with the Knicks.

Carlisle was ejected after getting in the referees’ faces late in Game 2.

The referees overturned a double-dribbling call late in the game, and Carlisle had to be held back before eventually being ejected.

Even so, the Pacers still need to do a better job on defense, and that doesn’t have anything to do with the referees.
