On the brink of elimination after losing Game 5 to the New York Knicks, the Indiana Pacers returned home for a pivotal Game 6 to keep their season alive.
Indiana answered the call and matched New York’s physicality and toughness and they made sure to give it everything they had in front of their home crowd.
After a tough first quarter that ended with the Knicks up one, the Pacers responded in the second quarter with a flurry of baskets to take a 10-point lead into halftime.
Indiana continued to play their style of basketball in the third to increase their lead to 13 before holding on in the fourth to prevent any comeback attempt from New York.
Now tied at 3-3, the Pacers will have to try and win a Game 7 on the road but that challenge is an extremely difficult one given how raucous Madison Square Garden has been during the postseason.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated matchup, Indiana released a highlight video of their Game 6 win, via the team’s official Twitter account.

The two-and-a-half-minute video shows fans arriving to the venue and the empty arena before Game 6 tipped off.
It then proceeds to show highlights of the two teams scoring baskets and making hustle plays and ends with players like T.J. McConnell and Myles Turner saying, “One more.”
It’s quite the hype video for the players and fans to view and if the previous games in the series are any indication then Game 7 should be another tough battle.
