The NFL is giving fans a treat in Week 1 this year with an exciting Friday night game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
The Packers recently announced the uniforms they’ll be wearing when they make the trip down south, as fans can start getting excited that football is just around the corner.
Since it is technically a home game for the Packers, they’ll be wearing green jerseys with gold pants, which is also a slight nod to the host country as the Brazilian flag colors are green and gold.

The Eagles will be wearing a new uniform combo with white jerseys, black pants, and the return of their black helmet that they haven’t worn since 2021.
The Packers and Eagles each ended last season with two completely different sentiments with the Packers flying high after an improbable playoff run and a playoff victory in Jordan Love’s first year as a starter, which he was able to leverage into a 4-year, $220 million contract.
The Eagles faltered down the stretch and went out with a whimper at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs, losing 32-9 after losing five of their last six games in the regular season following a 10-1 start.
Fans never get treated to Friday night games early in the season and this will be the first NFL game in South America as the league introduces itself to a new fanbase in a new continent.
You know football is just around the corner when you start getting excited about jersey combination reveals.
