The Green Bay Packers are not looking for a starting quarterback.
Thanks to what franchise quarterback Jordan Love showed in his first full year replacing a legend in Aaron Rodgers, the starting spot is all locked up.
However, the team might be looking to add some veteran depth behind him.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, free agent quarterback Jake Fromm recently worked out with Green Bay.
“The former Commanders, Giants, and Bills backup would be a potential pre-camp addition,” Rapoport posted to social media.

With Love having only started one season in Green Bay and with other backup Sean Clifford entering just his second NFL season, perhaps the team is looking to add some more experience to the room.
Fromm is entering his fifth NFL season and if he were to be signed by the Packers, they would be his fourth NFL team.
The former fifth-round pick of Buffalo in 2020 was an All-American at Georgia and helped them reach the College Football Playoff in 2017.
At 25 years of age, Fromm has played in three career games and started two of them.
All three of those games came in 2021 with the New York Giants.
He has a career completion percentage of 45.0%, 210 yards passing, a touchdown, and three interceptions.
It is safe to say that he would be no more than a training camp quarterback who may have the potential to fight his way onto the roster.
Time will tell to see if the Packers decide to sign him or not after his workout.
