The Green Bay Packers could be set for a stellar season, and many national pundits are in love with their current roster.
They have a man who could quickly become the NFL’s next truly elite quarterback in Jordan Love, as well as several young and promising wide receivers.
On Monday, they added a minor piece when they agreed to a trade with the Tennessee Titans that brought them quarterback Malik Willis, per NFL.

Willis attended both Auburn University and Liberty University, and in his senior season in the NCAA, he threw for 2,862 yards and 27 touchdowns.
He was taken in the third round of the 2022 draft by Tennessee, and as a rookie, he played in eight games, starting three of them, while completing 31 of 61 passes for 276 yards.
Last season, he appeared in just three games and attempted only five passes, completing four of them.
Willis could be poised to be the Packers’ backup quarterback behind Love, who finished last season with a flurry after some early-season struggles amidst prognostications that he wouldn’t be able to follow in the footsteps of Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets last offseason, giving Love, a 2020 first-round draft pick, the opportunity to finally be Green Bay’s QB1.
Now, the challenge for him is to make Green Bay a legitimate Super Bowl contender once again.
They play in what could be a difficult division, with the Detroit Lions, the reigning NFC North champions, returning largely the same roster, and the Chicago Bears looking like they’re loaded, at least on paper.
But they should have the talent to rise to the occasion.
