The Green Bay Packers were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL in 2023.
Fans and analysts didn’t know what to expect from Jordan Love, who was entering his first year as the team’s full-time starter.
While things didn’t look great to start the year, Love helped turn it around, bringing the Packers to the playoffs.
The front office saw enough from Love to sign him to a massive contract extension, and they’re confident in his abilities to lead the team for the foreseeable future.
Love represents a new era of Green Bay Packers football, an organization that has experienced incredible luck when it comes to drafting quarterbacks.
There is a lot of excitement for this team heading into the 2024 season.
As a result of that excitement, the Packers are trying to get all of their ducks in a row before the season begins, hoping to get the right players in place to perform even better.
Aaron Wilson recently reported that the Packers brought in three players for workouts: Johnny Lumpkin, Roderick Perry, and Caleb Sampson.

Perry and Sampson are defensive tackles, and Lumpkin is a tight end.
Adding help and depth on defense is never a bad idea, and seeing how Perry and Sampson have played in the NFL, their veteran presence could bring a lot to this team.
It is unclear where Lumpkin might fit into the Packers’ plans, considering that Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft have both shown to be reliable options at tight end.
