The Orlando Magic might have something brewing within their building.

They have had their ups and downs over the past decade, but with some of the new players on the roster, they just might have a chance at competing moving forward.

Paolo Banchero is viewed as their best player, but he’s joined by the likes of Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, and Wendell Carter Jr.

All five of these players are the future of the Magic, at least for the next few seasons.

Banchero recently commented on what he hopes the next five years will look like, both for him and the Magic as a whole.

As he said via Legion Hoops, “NBA Champ, hopefully MVP, and one of the faces of the league. Faces of basketball, of the new generation.”

Banchero has a lot of confidence in his abilities.

He believes he possesses the skills to win MVP, and that the Magic have assembled a team capable of winning the NBA Finals.

Their road might be difficult, however, as the competition in the Eastern Conference is heating up.

Teams like the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks aren’t going anywhere.

Each one of those teams has put together some dominant rosters as well, and they’ll do anything possible to stand in this team’s way.

Banchero is up for the challenge, but it remains to be seen if the Magic will be able to compete down the stretch, or if his comments are a mere dream.
