During his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts, punter Pat McAfee was considered to be one of the best players at his position in the league, earning Pro Bowl honors twice and being named an All-Pro once.

McAfee ended his playing career with the Colts with the highest career net average, punting yards at 41.1, which is an NFL record.

Along with having a successful NFL career, McAfee took his fame to another level entirely in his post-playing career by becoming an analyst with a distinct personality and style that has made him hugely successful.

Recently, the former Colts punter and The Pat McAfee Show landed a very lucrative deal with ESPN, which has helped make him that much more of a household name and a very recognizable personality in the world of sports.

On Sunday, McAfee was seen courtside at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis rocking an Indiana Pacers jersey for Game 4 of the second-round playoff series with the New York Knicks via New York Basketball’s Twitter account.

Most media members with big personalities like McAfee, who aren’t afraid to say anything on their shows, tend to stay away from these games, especially when it comes to sitting courtside and being visible to the players, coaches and fans.

McAfee is obviously a different beast as he doesn’t mind facing the players he criticizes face-to-face, and maybe that’s because he’s a former athlete.

As for the Pacers, Indiana was able to come out on top against the Knicks on Sunday in convincing fashion in order to tie the series up at two games apiece.
