The NFL’s MVP conversation has officially started to heat up.
Several players have thrown their hats in the ring due to their elite performances in the season.
While Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy have been viewed as the top two front-runners, Lamar Jackson’s name also continues to float around the conversation.
Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to a blowout victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday Night Football, furthering the case for him to be in the heart of this race.
Despite playing well in this game, Pat McAfee called out the NFL for a lack of TV coverage for Jackson.
In a mid-game tweet, McAfee said, “Every play is electrifying,” indicating Jackson’s impressive role on this offense.

He has played well individually, and the Ravens are in a great spot.
They hold the AFC’s top record and are in the driver’s seat for a first-round bye in the playoffs.
This might be unfamiliar territory for the Ravens under Jackson’s leadership, but it has seemed to be a long time coming, at least in McAfee’s mind.
As McAfee mentioned, he hopes the NFL can continue to showcase Jackson and his elite on-field performances.
Jackson is considered one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league and one of the most dynamic rushing quarterbacks in league history.
Can he find a way to dig deep and continue this hot streak in the playoffs?
The AFC is loaded with great teams that are powered by solid rosters.
While his road might not be easy, Jackson is ready to lead the Ravens into battle.
