Patrick Beverley is taking his talents to a new team after spending last season between the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls.
The controversial point guard wasn’t a part of the Bulls’ plans beyond the 2022-23 campaign and now will join a contender.
Beverley himself announced his next team, via NBA Central, revealing that he’s joining the Philadelphia 76ers.

Moreover, Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the news, adding that Beverley is joining the Philadelphia 76ers on a one-year deal.
He’s never been a superstar by any means, but Beverley is a fierce competitor.
The veteran has spent the last three seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls.
The Sixers are entering a new era with Nick Nurse as their head coach, and Beverley could play a key role.
Beverley averaged 6.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 67 games between the Lakers and Bulls.
The Sixers already have a big defender in P.J. Tucker, but his future with the franchise is up in the air right now.
They could make a few more moves and this Beverley addition is a step in the right direction.
Then again, the Sixers have a lot to prove, and next season will be important for them and Joel Embiid.
