Patrick Beverley has been going on an apology tour since the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated from the playoffs.

During his final game of the season, Beverley drew the ire of millions for throwing a ball at heckling fans in the arena.

He then made matters even worse when he refused to answer questions from ESPN’s Malinda Adams because she wasn’t subscribed to his podcast.

Speaking of that podcast, he recently appeared on it and gave his side of the story.

According to a video shared by Barstool Sports, Beverley said he didn’t mean to disrespect Adams and actually called her to apologize.

Beverley informed viewers that he had told people to subscribe to his podcast all season long.

Sure enough, he has repeatedly advertised his show after many games during interviews and it has become something that fans expect.

Still, his refusal to speak with Adams left a bad taste in the mouths of many.

Even if Beverley had spoken about his podcast a lot before, his actions against Adams didn’t sit well with people and had serious consequences.

Now that Beverley has apologized to fans and Adams, he can await any sort of punishment from the league for the way that he acted.

He may be forced to miss games next season because he threw the basketball at people.

If that happens, it means that he compromised next season all because of a few moments of bad judgment.

No one knows what will happen to Beverley but everyone assumes he won’t be talking about his podcast in the same way again.
