Patrick Beverley Has Made A Decision About His NBA Career

At one point in time, Patrick Beverley was considered one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, as he always seemed to make his squad better on that end of the floor while also bringing tenacity and grit to the locker room.

During stints with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers, Beverley was a menace and a player no opponents wanted to go up against, but after leaving the Clippers, he’s done nothing but bounce around the league while causing more problems on and off the court instead of helping his team win games.

Despite a steady decline, Beverley has been able to maintain employment in the NBA, as he’s played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks over the past few years.

However, this summer, he hasn’t been a hot commodity on the open market, with no NBA team expressing interest in his services, resulting in him needing to make a decision on his immediate future.

Recently, Beverley announced that he was deciding whether to sign a veteran minimum contract with an NBA team he did not identify or a supposedly historic deal with a team overseas.

Apparently, the decision has been made, with the veteran guard choosing to play overseas and sign with Hapoel Tel Aviv BC, via his “Pat Bev Pod.”

“They gave me everything I asked for … I couldn’t refuse,” Beverley said.

Although Beverley claimed this would be a historic contract, no details have been provided to confirm whether that is true.

The real question is whether he’ll continue his podcast now that he’s no longer playing in the NBA.
