NBA draft prospect Cooper Flagg made quite an impression on all basketball fans and analysts during his recent scrimmage against Team USA.
In fact, he did so well that people are still talking about it weeks later.
On his podcast, Patrick Beverley praised the up-and-coming star, calling him “tough”, praising his abilities on the court, and saying that he looks taller than most people think.

Beverley was astonished by Flagg’s showing with Team USA and expects great things from him in the seasons ahead.
Anyone paying attention to Flagg knows that Beverley is not the only one.
The 17-year-old earned a massive amount of praise when he played on the Select Team against LeBron James, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, and the rest of Team USA during a friendly scrimmage in preparation for the Olympics.
Although the young star was nervous, he blew everyone away and looked like a natural on the court, even against some of the biggest names in the game.
Following the match, he shared handshakes and hugs with his idols, a sign of just how much he impressed them all.
Flagg was the first college athlete to be invited to play for a Select Team in over ten years, which is another testament to how much the league wants him.
There is little doubt that he will be the next big thing in the draft and will be a desired player when he comes to the NBA.
Sadly, it looks like Beverley will probably never battle against him on the court because he just signed a deal to play overseas in Israel.
But, like many other basketball pros, he will watch in awe of the talented young player.
