At 28 years old, Patrick Mahomes has accomplished more with the Kansas City Chiefs than some players do in their entire NFL careers.

Mahomes has won two NFL MVP awards, two Super Bowl championships, and two Super Bowl MVP awards.

A supernova at the quarterback position, Mahomes has the chance to add to his trophy collection when he and the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

It’s hard to bet against someone like Mahomes who has proven time and time again that he can win in any situation.

Should the Chiefs and Mahomes end up victorious, the quarterback would join an exclusive list of athletes across various sports via ESPN.

“Chiefs Patrick Mahomes will become the first NFL player to join this exclusive list of players with three championships and two MVPS with a win on Sunday.”

Mahomes would join the likes of Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, Joe DiMaggio, and Guy LaFleur.

It’s quite the group of professional athletes and Mahomes seems destined to join them at some point.

That moment could come as soon as this Sunday, though San Francisco is easily the toughest opponent that Kansas City will face in the 2023 NFL playoffs.

The 49ers are excellent on both sides of the field and have plenty of momentum, so Mahomes and the Chiefs will have their work cut out for them in their quest to repeat.
