The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl last season in impressive fashion.

Patrick Mahomes won the league and Super Bowl MVP awards due to his consistent dominance and ability to lead an offense.

Even though the Chiefs were able to get things done in the postseason, they almost experienced an utter disaster.

During the divisional round of last season’s playoffs, Mahomes injured his ankle, forcing him to leave the game in the first half.

He ended up coming back in that game, and the rest is history.

However, many fans noticed that the ankle was still bothering him throughout the playoffs.

According to James Palmer of the NFL Network, Mahomes has recently provided an update about his ankle, saying, “I’m in a good spot with it.”

Mahomes’ arm is known as one of the best in the league, but he also makes a lot of magic happen with his legs.

If his ankle continues to bother him, it could lead to a timid presence in the pocket, potentially causing him to scramble less frequently during the 2023 season.

His comments seem to indicate that he is feeling much better, providing this update just ahead of training camp.

Fans will learn more in the next several weeks, as media will be present at the camp, posting videos of Mahomes’ work with the offense.

If the Chiefs are going to repeat as Super Bowl champions, they’ll need Mahomes’ magic to be in full effect, continuing to shine in this offense.
