The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t quite looked like the same team that won last year’s Super Bowl and that showed in Week 11 when they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs and Eagles have once again looked like the class of their respective conferences, but this time it was the latter that took home the win.
It was a complete reversal of Super Bowl LVII as the two teams put on strong defensive efforts that featured plenty of stalled drives and frustrated position players.
Jalen Hurts only managed 150 passing yards and threw a pick, though he did make up for it on the ground with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes didn’t fare much better as he only had 177 passing yards and two touchdowns along with one interception.
However, Mahomes still has the respect of his peers as he was voted as the best player in the NFL, via The Athletic and Dov Kleiman.

NFL players voted anonymously and Mahomes makes for the easy answer given he’s the reigning Super Bowl MVP and the best player at the quarterback position.
Playing quarterback is arguably the hardest position to play across all professional sports, yet Mahomes has a knack for making it look easy every week.
He’s the main reason why the Chiefs will be Super Bowl contenders every year so long as he’s healthy, though the team is showing that there might be some concerns this time around.
The receiving corps is the weakest it’s been since Mahomes arrived, so it’ll be interesting to see if he can elevate the roster come playoff time.
