Not so long ago, Don Shula, Bill Belichick, and Vince Lombardi were widely considered the greatest coaches in NFL history.

Now, it might officially be time to put Andy Reid up there with the best of them.

The offensive mastermind has been the architect behind the latest dynasty, and he’s proven to be the best offensive play-caller this game has ever seen over and over.

That’s why, following their win in Super Bowl LVIII, Patrick Mahomes made sure to let everybody know his thoughts on his coach, calling him the greatest of all time (Via Around the NFL):

“I believe he’s the best coach of all time,” Patrick Mahomes said after winning Super Bowl LVIII.

Together, Mahomes and Reid have won 89 games against 25 losses (playoffs included).

Of course, they haven’t been together for as long as Bill Belichick and Tom Brady were, but they already have half of the rings they won during their time with the New England Patriots in less than half of the time they were together.

Unfortunately, Reid isn’t likely to be Mahomes’ head coach for two decades, as he’s 65 years old already.

Still, Mahomes has already stated that he highly doubts that his head coach will go anywhere any time soon, especially now that they have a chance to become the first NFL team to win a three-peat in the history of the league.

Reid may or may not be the greatest of all time, but he’s definitely the best there is in today’s game.
