Ever since Tyreek Hill left, the Kansas City Chiefs have had a tough time finding a consistent contributor at wide receiver.
They have still managed to get by just fine without him, as they’ve won back-to-back Super Bowls since he took his talents to South Beach.
Nonetheless, it has become painfully evident that Patrick Mahomes needs more help in the passing game.
And with all the uncertainty regarding Rashee Rice’s situation, a newcomer might be asked to do plenty of heavy lifting.
Recently, Mahomes shared his expectations about Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, and he seemed quite excited to get to work with him (via Matt McMullen).
“He’ll have a great role in this offense…We can utilize him in different ways,” Mahomes said.

Mahomes believes they can finally bring the best out of him, as they can use him in ways he’s never been used in his career.
Brown entered the NFL with plenty of promise and expectations, but he hasn’t lived up to the hype just yet either because of injuries, his team’s offensive style, or his team’s struggles.
The Baltimore Ravens deployed a run-heavy offense, and the Arizona Cardinals haven’t exactly been competitive.
Now, he’s going to play under one of the brightest offensive minds this game has ever seen in Andy Reid, not to mention the undisputed best quarterback in the game.
Brown has a legitimate chance to be the Chiefs’ WR1 right away or be a deep-play specialist at worst.
The Chiefs are looking to become the first team to win a three-peat, and getting a weapon like Hollywood Brown inched them closer to that goal.
