The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have landed in Las Vegas, ready to start their final week of prep for the Super Bowl.
While the big game is at the forefront of their minds, another situation has developed in Patrick Mahomes’ life.
His father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., was recently arrested for driving under the influence, and this was not his first offense.
This storyline quickly surrounded young Mahomes before the Super Bowl, and many reporters have tried asking him about it.
But, as Mahomes said via Pro Football Talk, “It’s a family matter, so I’ll keep it to the family,” Mahomes said. “That’s all I have to say.”
