It’s not a secret that quarterback is the most crucial position in football, especially in today’s NFL.

That being said, it’s safe to say that the Kansas City Chiefs are more than set at that position for years to come, as Patrick Mahomes enters the year as the best quarterback in the league again.

And judging by the latest poll conducted by ESPN, it seems like it’s not even close, as the pool of executives, players, coaches, and scouts deemed him as the No. 1 QB in the NFL almost unanimously.

2. Joe Burrow
3. Josh Allen

Per the article, the lowest someone ranked Mahomes was No. 2, which speaks volumes of how dominant he’s been over the past couple of years.

Mahomes has dominated the NFL almost at will since he took over as the starter, reaching at least the AFC Championship Game in every single one of the seasons he’s played.

He’s also made it to the Super Bowl three times with two wins and two Super Bowl MVPs, cementing himself as a first-ballot Hall of Famer long before turning 30.

Mahomes is perhaps the only player in today’s game with a legit chance to be considered the greatest player of all time, as well as the only one that could tie or even surpass Tom Brady in rings.

Needless to say, that’s a lot of praise and pressure.
