This is going to be a very, very long season for the New England Patriots.
With Drake Maye set to begin the campaign as a backup, there won’t be that many reasons to tune in and watch Jerod Mayo’s team play.
Still, they won’t just go through the motions, and they will at least try to be somewhat competitive.
With that in mind, they’ve added two more players to their practice squad.
Considering that, they’ve signed linebackers Joe Giles-Harris and Yvandy Rigby.

Giles-Harris is a familiar face for the team.
He spent most of the previous campaign on the practice squad and even took the field in the preseason.
The 27-year-old originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Duke.
He spent two years there before a two-year stint with the Buffalo Bills, and he’s logged 26 tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack in 17 appearances thus far.
As for Rigby, he’s an undrafted rookie out of Temple.
He logged 207 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, six passes defensed, four sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in 31 appearances in college.
The 24-year-old signed with the Baltimore Ravens earlier in the offseason but failed to make the 53-man roster.
