Mike Evans is officially a free agent, which has been quite the talking point across the NFL during the offseason.

Evans has been with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers throughout his career, but that tenure could be coming to an end soon.

He is reportedly far away from a contract extension with the team, and unless things are patched up soon, he could be looking elsewhere.

Evans could be a fit for nearly any team in the league, especially since he has been a dominant receiver throughout his career.

He was recently publically recruited to the New England Patriots by Matthew Judon, who asked Patriots fans if they would like Evans to be on their team.

What do we think of mr. 1000 @MikeEvans13_ to Pats nation????

On the surface, Evans making a move to the Patriots could make sense.

He is a veteran receiver with ten years of NFL experience, which is something the Patriots’ receiving room is lacking.

They are in desperate need of a WR1, something Evans is familiar with from his time with the Buccaneers.

However, for Evans to make a switch of this magnitude, he would have to be convinced that the Patriots are willing to bring in the right quarterback.

Mac Jones has not been the answer to this point, but with the team having the No. 3 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, they are in line to select one of the best prospects in the class.

If Evans wants to help a rookie quarterback make a great impression in their first season in the NFL, the Patriots certainly present as an intriguing option.
