It’s been quite a while since we last saw a Pau Gasol wreak havoc in the NBA.
Gasol already has a couple of kids, and it seems like the third one is on the way.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star took to social media to announce that he was already putting together his very own starting five, announcing that his third child would come in the fall season (via NBA on ESPN).

While he doesn’t get enough credit for it, there was a time when Pau Gasol was one of the best power forwards in the game.
He was a little ahead of his time, being a guy who could stretch the floor with his shooting and serve for others with his passing, and even the great Kobe Bryant himself admitted that he wouldn’t have been able to win those two final rings if it wasn’t for Gasol.
Gasol was an intelligent and savvy player, and he was perhaps the only player who could tame Kobe’s temper.
Bryant, on the other hand, instilled the toughness he needed in him to finally take another leap forward and become an NBA champion.
Gasol was constantly tangled up in trade rumors, and it felt like he wasn’t truly appreciated at the time he was playing, at least in the NBA.
Even so, he went down as one of the greatest international players in NBA history and an absolute legend in FIBA, and we wish him the best in this new adventure.
