Arguably, the hottest young star in the NBA today is Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who is currently showcasing his skills on the international level for Team USA as the undisputed leader for Steve Kerr and his coaching staff.

Even though the Timberwolves haven’t made much noise in the league since drafting him to play alongside Karl-Anthony Towns, Edwards continues to take strides forward every single year and get better little by little, which has caught the attention of many, including his peers like Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers.

On a recent episode of his “Podcast P” show, the Clippers star talked about Edwards’ ascension and how he’s showing that he might be the next big thing in the NBA, especially with what he’s doing overseas right now.

It seems as though the more Edwards’ skills get questioned, the better he gets, and another step is taken toward superstardom in the NBA, as he has all the tools to be one of the best all-around players in the league.

As one of the best two-way players in the game, George knows that Edwards is coming and has been impressed by what he has seen him do in the league over the past couple of years and what he is doing for Team USA, especially against Germany recently.

One of the best moves that Edwards seems to have made is playing for Team USA and showing the world what he can do, as he has proven he is the total package while also showing some leadership skills that will come in handy over the next few years in Minnesota.
