The Indiana Pacers are brewing something special this season.
The team currently has an 8-5 record and scored another big win Tuesday night with a 157-152 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
The team has a slew of great stars but at the center of it all is Tyrese Haliburton, the team’s All-Star guard.
Speaking with Kevin Garnett on Showtime Basketball, via Ballislife, Paul Pierce said that Haliburton is someone who needs to be seen to be believed.
“I’ve never seen at the point guard this combination of shooting and passing,” Pierce said.

For the last several seasons, Haliburton has proven himself as one of the best shooters in the league.
He has also wowed fans with his ability to pass and led the NBA in assists last season with 12 per game.
Haliburton was at it again on Tuesday night, finishing with 37 points and an astounding 16 assists as his Pacers took down the Hawks.
Back in February of 2022, Haliburton was sent to the Pacers from the Sacramento Kings, who received Domantas Sabonis and draft picks as well.
Pierce said that was a great trade for both teams, as the Kings got their star center and the Pacers received a team leader who can shoot and pass unlike anyone else.
The Pacers have gotten off to a strong start this season and hold the sixth spot in the East.
That conference is currently very tight and they could climb up a few spots with just a few wins.
There is hope among the fanbase that this might be the season they push far into the postseason, powered by the excellent skills of Haliburton.
