With the 2023-24 NBA regular season hitting the halfway point, the teams with a real chance of being able to contend for a title this season are starting to separate themselves from the pack.

One team that has really started to show its grit with the league about to head into the second half of the regular season is the Boston Celtics, as Jayson Tatum and company are the only team in the NBA right now still in single digits in the loss column.

While sporting the best record in the NBA at 31-9, Boston seems more and more like the real deal this season, as this team could be ready to go the distance with Tatum, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jaylen Brown leading the way.

Two Celtics legends who know what it takes to go the distance in the NBA recently talked about what they see from Boston right now and how Tatum and Brown are leading this team moving forward on “KG Certified,” via All the Smoke Productions’ Twitter account.

Along with being the Celtics’ biggest critics at times, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce always seem to give credit where credit is due when it comes to their former team, and they both felt the squad deserved recognition for what it has accomplished so far this year.

Both Pierce and Garnett feel like this Celtics team is playing with an “edge” that is needed in order to win a championship, especially with the league being as competitive as it is today.
