LeBron James is a four-time NBA champion and possibly the greatest player of all time.
He has also taken home the gold medal at the Olympics for basketball.
But could he have done that for a different sport?
Speaking on Friday’s “Undisputed,” Paul Pierce claimed that a younger James could have competed as an Olympic sprinter.
“If he’s talking Miami LeBron, 100%. I’ve seen this up and close in person,” Pierce said, stating that James moved with such speed and athleticism at that age that he could have rivaled some of the fastest runners in the world.

Since the beginning of his career, James has been celebrated for his one-of-a-kind athleticism.
He is a skilled basketball star but he’s also just a wonderful all-around athlete.
There have been so many times when he has chased down an opponent and blocked them with an intense and startling amount of speed.
Even though he isn’t a small man, he moves like someone half his size.
Would James really have been able to compete in the Olympics as a sprinter?
That will never be known, of course, but he will always be one of the best basketball stars the Olympics has ever seen.
He is getting one last chance to prove that in the 2024 Olympics, playing alongside others like Anthony Edwards, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Jayson Tatum, and more.
This will be his final time to compete for a gold medal and leave his mark on the big games.
No matter how it turns out, his impact on the Olympics and Team USA will be remembered forever.
