The Golden State Warriors’ dynasty will not soon be forgotten.
Winning four NBA championships in ten years is no small feat, and it is a reminder of the Warriors’ dominance over the past decade.
For a while, it seemed like the Warriors were unstoppable, the team to beat coming into every year.
That might not be the case anymore, at least according to Paul Pierce.
The Warriors have lost a few key pieces in recent seasons, recently losing Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks.
Thompson has been less efficient over the past two years, but he is still a notable loss for this team.
This is why, in a recent podcast shared via Clutch Points, Pierce said, “Warriors ain’t gonna be the same… They don’t have a championship team.”
Paul Pierce: “Warriors aint gonna be the same… They don’t have a championship team.”
KG: “Losing hurts… [Steph Curry] need some help.”

Pierce was bold in saying this, but he was also confident in his take.
Steph Curry is still on the roster, and will likely remain a Warrior through the rest of his NBA career.
Even though Curry is still the best shooter on the planet, he can’t do it alone.
Thompson was his running mate throughout all the team’s championships, and it will be difficult to replace their chemistry and Thompson’s production when healthy.
The Warriors need to find an alternate solution quickly, otherwise, the 2024-2025 season could be a bust, as Pierce suggested.
The Western Conference isn’t the cakewalk it used to be, with teams like the Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Mavericks all stepping up and getting significantly better.
