The Los Angeles Lakers could soon be in a very precarious situation.
They are on the verge of entering the Play-In Tournament again but it’s not clear which team they will battle against.
There is a chance it could be the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors.
On “Undisputed,” Paul Pierce said that playing the Warriors would be a “nightmare scenario” for the Lakers.
He said that the Lakers would be facing four future Hall of Famers – Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Chris Paul – who understand the importance of the game.
That could lead to a very quick exit for Los Angeles.
“This is a nightmare scenario for the Lakers.”

Pierce said that if he were the Lakers, he would rather take his chances with the Kings.
That being said, the Lakers don’t have great track records against either team.
In fact, they are 1-7 against both the Kings and Warriors this season.
No matter who they play against, things are going to be difficult for the Lakers.
However, they have shown before that they can rise to the occasion and overcome the odds.
In fact, they did that repeatedly last year during the postseason when they pushed all the way to the Western Conference Finals.
But will they be able to do it again this year?
There are only a couple of days left in the regular season and the eighth, ninth, and tenth seeds are all very close.
The Lakers, Kings, and Warriors will go into every game hoping to secure the eighth seed.
Will Los Angeles be the ones that climb out of their current spot or will they face the “nightmare scenario” that could end their season?
