Peter King Raves About Baltimore Ravens Rookie WR

Fans have called out the Baltimore Ravens over and over in the past for their failure to get a star wide receiver in the NFL Draft or free agency.

It’s safe to say that this season could put an end to those woes, as Boston College standout Zay Flowers has turned a lot of heads throughout training camp.

With a week of camp already in the books, NFL expert Peter King went as far as to claim Flowers as the most impressive rookie he’s seen in six different camps.

Flowers has drawn rave reviews from multiple people around the league, and it seems like the Ravens have finally struck gold at the position.

Notably, the Ravens were reportedly quite high on Flowers for a while, and they always intended to pair him with Lamar Jackson, who also demanded more help for the passing game.

It’s also worth noting that the Ravens went the extra mile to give him more help by spending almost three times as much as other teams were willing to pay Odell Beckham Jr., doing it as a gesture of good faith as they tried to work out a new contract with their quarterback.

New Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken will allow Jackson to make more adjustments, call his own plays, and sling the football down the field, and Flowers could be in line for a huge workload in his rookie season, even if there are some minor concerns about his size.

Don’t sleep on the Ravens, as this team could be very fun to watch in 2023.
