The Chicago Bears have never had an elite quarterback.
As crazy as that may sound, that’s also one of the many reasons why they haven’t been as relevant over the past decade or so.
Needless to say, they hope that Caleb Williams will put an end to that once and for all.
And while his talent is clearly off the charts, some expressed concerns about his character and maturity — or lack thereof — as he entered the league.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Peter Schrager tipped his hat to him for the way he’s improved and how he’s addressed the media recently (Via NFL Network).

In the latest edition of Good Morning Football, Schrager claimed to be impressed by Williams’ cadence, and the way he connected with reporters as he gave a thorough and well-thought answer about how he needs to improve his quick game and his blitz looks ahead of his rookie season.
Williams’ upside is really high.
He could be one of the best quarterbacks in the game in no time, and fulfilling his potential could instantly turn the Bears into a legitimate driving force in the NFC.
That will depend on countless factors, but it’s nice to see that he actually wants to be great and is willing to work on whichever flaw he has in his game.
Only time will tell how his career will pan out, but the early returns, although off the field, seem encouraging.
