The NFL season is about to begin, meaning it’s time to fire away your predictions.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Peter Schrager — who’s become famous for always nailing the Super Bowl prediction — shared his thoughts on one of the most important awards.
Talking on Good Morning Football, Schrager stated that he thought Washington Commanders star QB Jayden Daniels would be the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Schrager argued that Daniels didn’t have the razzle-dazzle or passes like Caleb Wiliams and he was kind of flying under the radar, but he was by no means a consolation prize for the Commanders.
He reminded everyone that even though LSU wasn’t a highly-touted team last season, Daniels did win everything individually, being chosen as the Heisman trophy winner, the AP Player of the Year, and having the highest-rated single season for a quarterback in college football history.
While everybody talks about his legs, Scrhager is also impressed with his arm, and he believes he’s also going to be a leader for a Commanders team that’s heading in a new direction.
This prediction makes perfect sense, as, unlike Williams, Daniels will be under no pressure to win right away.
More than that, he’s going to play in a quarterback-friendly system, with Kliff Kingsbury scheming the offense.
He will also have plenty of weapons to work with, and with his dual-threat ability, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him also become a fantasy football league star for those who trusted him in their drafts.
