The New York Jets made the trade of the offseason when they acquired quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers.

He is a four-time NFL MVP and will be the best Jets quarterback in a long time.

Rodgers has spent his entire career with the Packers, so playing for a new team in a new city will be very new.

But Hall of Famer Peyton Manning believes that the transition will be easy for Rodgers.

Manning went onto the Pat McAfee Show to discuss how Rodgers knowing the offense in New York will be a major benefit.

The fact that he has the same system that he had in Green Bay is huge” ~ Peyton Manning#PMSLive pic.twitter.com/sTrnpJexiR

The Jets’ offense coordinator is Nathaniel Hackett, whom Rodgers spent many years with in Green Bay.

He understands the offense Hackett wants to run, and how to execute it at a high level.

With Rodgers set to turn 40 years old in December, he has no time to waste in New York.

The expectation is for him to win, and win now.

Playing in the AFC East will be no easy task with the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins being two tough opponents.

The AFC conference will be far more difficult than what Rodgers was used to in the NFC.

He has his work cut out for him in his first year.

The Jets will be playing with lofty expectations for the first time in a long while.

All of the pressure will be on Rodgers to deliver and get the Jets back to the postseason.
