The NFL is currently enjoying a renaissance at the quarterback position as there are several superstars around the league.

Patrick Mahomes leads the pack as the Kansas City Chiefs superstar has led his team to back-to-back Super Bowl titles and will be looking for the “three-peat.”

However, there are a few quarterbacks in the AFC who will be looking to spoil Mahomes and the Chiefs’ reign.

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens pose the biggest threat to Mahomes as the two just saw each other in the AFC Championship Game.

There is also Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals who will be looking to bounce back and are the last team to beat Mahomes in the NFL Playoffs.

Peyton Manning has to be enjoying seeing the new generation of quarterbacks act as the faces of the NFL and he offered up his top-five signal callers currently via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

To no one’s surprise, Manning goes with Mahomes as the best followed by Burrow.

Interestingly enough, he picks Justin Herbert over Jackson despite the latter being the reigning NFL MVP.

He closes it out by selecting Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen who, like Jackson, is a dual-threat quarterback who is just as good passing as he is running.

It’s a strong list from Manning who can appreciate the different styles of play, though it won’t be long before other names make a case for themselves.
