The Philadelphia Phillies are having another strong season which will put them in the postseason.
Even though it seems like a formality, the Phillies have not officially clinched a postseason berth yet.
The first opportunity to do that will come on Tuesday night.
The Phillies host the Pittsburgh Pirates and just need one win to clinch their spot in the playoffs.
Philadelphia and all of their fans are getting excited about the thought of another “Red October.”

With a win tonight that postseason atmosphere is guaranteed to come back to Citizens Bank Park.

The playoff atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park is one of the best atmospheres in sports.
It is a very difficult place to play due to the raucous crowd.
Looking at the current playoff bracket, the Phillies are poised to host the Arizona Diamondbacks or Chicago Cubs in the Wild Card round.
That will be a best-of-three series with all three games being played at CBP.
Last year, the Phillies went from the Wild Card to the World Series.
There is no reason to believe they cannot accomplish that again.
One series that a lot of baseball fans are hoping for is a Phillies-Braves rematch in the NLDS.
That was an electric series last year that the Phillies were able to win, 3-1.
But, the Braves of this year are much better than last year’s team.
If these teams square off again it will be must-see TV.
