The Philadelphia Phillies hope to get another dynamic arm back in the bullpen soon.

One player who seems to be coming back soon is Seranthony Dominguez.

The hard-throwing righty last pitched on June 15.

Yet he is progressing in his rehab from a left oblique strain.

According to Matt Gelb, Dominguez will throw in Triple-A on Friday night.

Seranthony Domínguez will pitch for Triple-A Lehigh Valley in Toledo tomorrow night. Phillies are also moving Noah Song to Triple A — he will pitch two innings Saturday. Club must activate him by July 28.

Dominguez will be a welcome addition to the Phillies.

They could use another right-hander in the bullpen and Dominguez has been good in the past.

Yet this season, Dominguez has an ERA of 4.33 over 27.0 innings pitched.

Just getting Dominguez back will give the Phillies another reliable arm.

Also, they need to see what a fully healthy bullpen will look like before the trade deadline.

If the Phillies are not satisfied with their relievers they should be looking to make an upgrade.

Craig Kimbrel has been very good in the closer role but you can never have enough bullpen arms.

On the season they have a bullpen ERA of 3.86.

So despite some uncertainty coming into the season, the bullpen has been solid for the Phils.

The Phillies have turned their season around over the past two months.

They are eight games over .500 (52-44) and are currently in the third Wild Card position.

After making the World Series last year that is now the expectation for this team.

It could come down to a few key trade deadline moves that could push the Phillies over the top.
