Chase Utley was one of the finest players to ever wear the Philadelphia Phillies uniform.
He helped guide them to five straight National League East titles from 2007-11 and was also a part of their 2008 World Series championship team.
These days, Utley is still around the game, but is serving in a different role.
Now, the former second baseman is an ambassador for Major League Baseball in the United Kingdom.
The London Series between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals takes place this weekend.
Recently, Utley stopped by MLB Network to discuss his role and how he is attempting to grow the game.

Utley now lives in the United Kingdom.
He and his family moved there after his career came to an end and have been traveling around Europe ever since.
In the past, baseball had taken a back seat to other sports in the United Kingdom and all of Europe.
However, Utley has made an attempt to grow the game and expose people in the United Kingdom to what has long been considered America’s pastime.
Utley discussed what he has been doing ever since he and his family moved to London and how the game has grown.
He talked about the “First Pitch” program and how it exposes young children to baseball.
The program teaches kids the fundamentals of baseball.
The former second baseman says that he has been traveling to schools all over the London to teach the game to these children and help establish more of a presence overseas.
