The Philadelphia Phillies have to be happy with the moves they made this offseason.
One of the key moves they made was signing shortstop Trea Turner to an 11-year contract.
He struggled to begin the season in his new uniform, but he has turned it around of late.
Turner is batting .280 in June with three home runs, 14 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.
The former All-Star turned 30 years old today and the Phillies made sure to send out a thoughtful tweet.

This is the first of many birthdays that Turner will celebrate in a Phillies uniform.
He has committed to being a Phillie for the next decade and he is already becoming a fan favorite.
The best gift for Turner and the rest of the Phillies is to continue adding to their win streak.
They have won four straight games and 18 of their last 23.
Now they welcome the Washington Nationals to town in another series they should win.
Turner will get the chance to go up against his former team.
Washington has a 4.63 team ERA on the season, which ranks 26th in baseball.
The Phillies should have no problem getting their bats going against the team in last place in the NL East.
Every Phillies fan is thrilled to have Turner as a part of their roster.
He is one of the best players in baseball and must play a key role in helping the Phillies get back to the World Series.
